Eu4'deki idea sistemindeki metaları her ne kadar gidermeye çalışsanız da istisnalar dışında gideremiyorsunuz. Örnegin orta avrupadaki bir ülkeyle espionage idea almak veya isveç ile maritime veya naval idea almak güçlü komşularından dolayı pek mantıklı gelmiyor. Oyun espionage ve diplomatic idea alinarak rpg yapılmaya pek müsait olmadigi icin bir örnegin ekonomic idea kadar iş görmemekte. Ekonomic ideasini iyi bir ekonomisi olmasina ragmen alınmasının sebebi policyden gelen +5 disiplin bonusu.

Any work that has been done in EU4 to get rid of metas seems to have been largely unsuccessful. For example, it doesn't make sense for a Central European nation to pick Espionage or for Sweden to pick Maritime or Naval ideas because of their strong neighbors. As the game is not suitable for any role-playing by picking up Espionage or Diplomatic ideas, it makes more sense to just pick Economic for example. Also, the player is picking the Economic idea just for the +5 discipline bonus, even when they have good economies.

At some point, players start to use the best military ideas and policies that have been in the meta for so long, without showing any regard for the country's geographic location and history. Because it doesn't matter how good are they at role-playing, as long as they don't have troops that have more discipline and morale as their neighbors, all the role-playing have no meaning.

I'm thinking that maybe the idea system might change. There could be a system where the idea groups are available for the geographic areas. I am wondering about your thoughts on this.
